Shu_downunder Posted March 31, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I live in Melbourne Australia. Besides one from a local dealer called Camera Exchange, 4 of my other R lenses were bought from eBay. I have been really lucky that all the online purchased were in near new condition. However I don’t think the luck would last forever. Can anyone please advice me alternative sources of purchasing R lenses?

masjah Posted April 3, 2021 Share #7 Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Here in the UK I have always found ffordes in Scotland and Red Dot Cameras in London to be excellent. (The latter dealer supports this Forum.) Edited April 3, 2021 by masjah

Which R lenses are you after, I have several, to which I no longer use perhaps we can discuss it, I also live in Melbourne. I have just about retired all my R gear, as my eyes are slowing down and need AF or better focusing aids. Ken.

edstock Posted March 5, 2022 Share #12 Posted March 5, 2022 H, I was having difficulty focusing with my M's and R because I was wearing glasses. About a year and a half ago I had cataract surgery. I had the choice between a lens insert, into the eyes, for either far or close distance. I choose the far and instantly I didn't need my glasses I had worn all my life. Bringing a viewfinder up to my eye is a joy. My vision is 20-22 in both eyes. I was given reading glasses for close work. This maybe something you want to discuss with an eye specialist.
