I've recently returned to shooting film with a Leica iiic. I bought a Focomat 1c a few years ago which has been left unused. I noticed now that it's missing a lens adapter tube and a negative carrier, plus a bulb, but for the rest looks in pretty good nick. The negative carrier doesn't seem that hard to find if at rather inflated prices, but I'm struggling with the adapter tube I need. While I have an old 70mm El-Nikkor I used in my darkroom years ago, I realise a 50mm lens is probably more appropriate. I'm tempted to buy a tatty yet complete Valoy I've seen which seems to come with a "VAROB", the necessary adapter tube and neg carrier, but I would like to check here first in case I'm missing something.

thanks in advance.

I've just received the Valoy enlarger. I believe it's the first model, and it's actually quite a nice enlarger which I intend to make full use of. Unfortunately  the lens adapter on the Valoy seems to be quite different to the Focomat, so not interchangeable as far as I can tell. The inner diameter of the the tube on the Focomat (with the helicoid thread) is 62mm. I suspect the tube required is similar to the one in the photo below, but don't really know.
