Lowepatt Posted March 26, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 26, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a new member and I want your help. Although I don't own any Leica camera at the moment (only once owned a M4 more than 10 years ago) but I do own few Leica lenses. Within my holdings of Leica lenses, I have a 1936 Leica LTM 90mm Elmar F4 and a 1935 LTM 135mm F4.5 both in black. My question is if I want to add a hood for these two lenses. I found IUFOO/12575 in Leica file. I look into Ebay and found IUFOO/12575 and IUFOO/12575N. I want to know which hood will; fit for my two Leica lenses. In Leica file, the IUFOO/12575 was made since 1955 and could it fit for my early lenses. Thank you
Advertisement Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 Hi Lowepatt, Take a look here IUFOO/12575. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ironringer Posted March 26, 2021 Share #2 Posted March 26, 2021 For vintage screwmount-LTM lenses, the appropriate hood is the FIKUS, that has the clamp-on A36 mount to fit those old lenses - they take A36 clamp-on filters. The picture below from the reference Leika Wiki shows it, and it has several variations, some more expensive than others. This is an easy-to-find, and useful, accessory. Welcome, dear visitor!
