Can you please show me a photograph of your personalized engraving on your Leica? This can also be digital Leica's, and not 'only' film cameras where this thread is located. Thanks in advance. I think that's the first time I've seen a camera with that kind of acanthus scroll engraving. It is obviously common in the sporting gun world – a Purdey or Holland & Holland would look slightly odd without it – but it also seems to work quite nicely on a Leica. Is it because the metal or finish is different in some way? I would like to have my Q2 engraved on the top with the Leica logo. Does anyone have any recommendations? I understand engraving is not to everyone’s taste and I could just leave it alone. I want a professional engraving that looks like it came with the camera. Many thanks for any help.
