Try unscrewing the lens from the focusing mount.

Hello Pico,

That may not be a good idea until we know WHICH lenses we have here.

There are some "M" lenses that might be damaged if someone tries to unscrew them if that person does not know the appropriate parameters for those lenses.

This is why I asked "which" lens or lenses we are discussing here.

Best Regards,

Michael

yeah... Pico answered my question to confirm V3 will fix M lenses from previous post.

The 90 cron APO is terribly tight on V3 mount.  It's no joke...

tried, 50 summilux V2 and 90 cron APO.  no luck...

Hello Again jaeger,

The 2 lenses that you have are NOT designed to come apart. Sometimes a lens is tight when you try to attach it to a Visoflex, or sometimes also when you try to attach it to another "M" camera.

I will have to continue tomorrow because I will "turn into a pumpkin" in a few minutes.

Don't worry. We can deal with this & do something.

Best regards,

Michael

Hello jaeger,

It would appear that we have crossing Posts. Not a problem.

Both of the lenses that you mentioned do NOT unscrew.

More to follow.

Best Regards,

Michael

what is unscrew?  do you mean dismount the lens from visoflex3?

Neither lens will work Jaeger.

Have a study of the schematics i previously posted.

They are the only lenses which will work on the Visoflex.

Often these lenses can be bought cheaply, and perform very well.

Of course you'll need the adapters too.

Jaeger.  You have to understand that only lenses designed for the visoflex will work and focus to infinity.  All of these are longer focal lengths with 65mm being the shortest

Some lenses - the 90mm elmar for example have a removable lens head that can be placed on either a rangefinder focus mount or visoflex focus mount.  The visoflex foxus mount is 41mm shorter to account for the thickness of the visiflex. (See photo - head in front with viso mount on left and rangefinder mount on right
