hirohhhh Posted February 28, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 28, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Since I bought SL2, I'm manually adding GPS coordinates to each image immediately after import. I have a smart album that shows all the images without GPS coordinates, so I know exactly which images aren't tagged. I go to Google maps and grab the coordinates from the location I choose. Pretty easy. However, I noticed that in the last couple months, Lightroom Classic does not assign location information into metadata after adding coordinates. For example, these two images are taken with the same camera, same settings, imported the same way into LrC, and I've assigned manually GPS coordinates to both. Why is this important? Well, I have smart albums by location, so this is often very handy. And I've noticed that none of the last 20-ish imports are not in these albums, even though they all have GPS coordinates.
