Just a question, does anyone here shoot with the Chrome version (first iteration of V2 pre-asph) of this lens? Seems most people posting here it’s with either the e43 black version or e46, so just wondering as I’d like to see some examples with that version, which although I understand has the same lens design, it should have different coatings due to age difference.

I'm not quite sure if the followings are what you've asking for, FYR.

Summilux 50mm F1.4 V2, (11114, E43), M10-P

Captured wide open as she walked towards me. The lens is calibrated to f/2, which means it has a slight front focusing at f/1.4. In cases like this, it's actually an advantage, because in the brief moment it takes to press the shutter button, the subject has moved into the area of perfect focus.

M3 & Lux 50mm e43 Chrome (1966)

Finally found a mint copy, this lens is so cool! Best design ever, and the rendering is lovely, especially at f2.8 (like the 1st two shots), 3rd is wide open.

Congratulations to you!!

The first sample of mine was taken F2.8 as well and it's surprisingly pleasant to me.

Lux Chrome at f2.8, love the 3d pop and sharpness if you close the lens down a bit : )

Beautiful portrait with beautiful color of background.

And: How many children do you have? The girls look all alike . . . Lovely family.

Thank you!

I have two children; a girl and a boy, but the boy is impossible to photograph anymore. 😉

I also post some old photos, this one for example, is a couple of years ago now.
