But what I regard as the excessively long focus throw made it unsuitable for my use case for this lens: street pictures taken at night. Some people seem to prefer a longer focus throw, saying it is more accurate, but I have never experienced any difficulties with the short focus throw. As I am rather new to the M, I am not sure who my focussing skills are at 1.4, but then, it will for sure work on the SL.
