Advertisement Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Hi cirke, Take a look here SL2 custom btn focus peaking on/off. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Slender Posted February 20, 2021 Share #2 Posted February 20, 2021 Menu -> Page 5 Camera Settings -> Capture Assistants (that you can summon with the FN function by defaults. You can choose up to 4 different set ups) Activate/Deactivate as many "info profile" as you want, go to setting to See + Edit what you want them to display (info bars, levels, histograms, zebras, peaking....etc) For everyday shooting (in A mode) I use 3: 1) Info Bars Only: 2) Info, Zebra, Histogram. 3) all bells and whsitle: Levels, peaking, zebra, grid...etc
cirke Posted February 20, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted February 20, 2021 (edited) Thank you but I cannot find in the menu where i can on/off the focus peaking, i can only change the color, but nowhere a very simple on/off and do you know if it is possible to lock the focus point at the center of the screen (my main problem with the CL) ? Slender Posted February 20, 2021 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2021 You are welcome. What I mean is that, with the FN button (default to "toggle info levels"), you can select your Info profiles (up to 4 different one) to display peaking or not, therefore activating it (or not) by toggling info levels. geotrupede Posted February 20, 2021 Share #7 Posted February 20, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) if focus peaking is that thing that glows around objects, then it can be removed, I managed somehow. Maybe it is with the info button, try the Fn on the left. otherwise go menu and then with the front wheel pick another page (the numbers above the menu items) and then with the joystick go up/down menu is supposed to be amazing, everybody raves about, I find it difficult and not so friendly SL seemed simpler as everything was on a list, this is like in 3d, you go up/down and then scroll pages... my head spins! cirke Posted February 20, 2021 Author Share #10 Posted February 20, 2021 (edited) on the M240 it was not a question , there was an option peaking off/on I dont want to hide option 3) Levels, peaking, zebra, grid...etc I tried it already with the button FN and of course it works but you hide all at the same time I just want to hide peaking (and zebra) but of course I want to keep the level or and the grid Edited February 20, 2021 by cirke

Very good description on how to do this on page 80-82 in the manual. 1
