Good evening, I would like to buy a Leitz Summilux-R 50/1.4, E48 or E55: I have read this article:

http://www.marcocavina.com/articoli_fotografici/Leitz_Summilux-R_50mm_1,4/00_pag.htm

Do you agree that the difference between the E48 and E55 versions consists only in the size of the filters? Thank you in advance!

V2 is only 60mm, isn't it true? While there are two v1: the first, from 1970 to 1978, with 48mm filters and  the second v1, from 1978 to 1998, with 55mm filters. I speak aboout only the first v1 and the second v1 (E48 and E55). Second type of v1 has got 55mm filters and "not geometric" numbers of v2.

You seem to know more about those lenses than i do. I would rely on Marco Cavina or ask your question on the Collectors forum.
