peter2017 Posted January 16, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 16, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am looking to buy a non Leica lens in either 23/24mm focal length for use on a T body. Although I would like to have Leica lens it is a bit more than I can spend at the moment. Any recommendations will be extremely helpful. I love the tonal quality the raw files produce and the feel of the camera. Thanks. Peter
Advertisement Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Hi peter2017, Take a look here 23/24mm lens for Leica T Type 701. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted January 16, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 16, 2021 Voigtländer Color-Skopar 25 -M. Not fast (but you don't need that for this type of lens), Very high IQ, Leica-like colour rendering and tones, miniscule and cheap.
Reggie Posted January 19, 2021 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2021 If you want autofocus, then take a look at the newly announced and about to be released Sigma I-series DG DN 24mm F3.5. It’s the one on the far left. All the other lenses in the I-series have now been released. Welcome, dear visitor! tommonego@gmail.com Posted January 19, 2021 Share #4 Posted January 19, 2021 (edited) The 23 Summicron is a very nice lens, decent size until you put the lens shade on it. I have also used a 25 f3.5 Canon LTM which is a tiny lens and works well on my CL. Also look at the fast 21mms from Voigtlander. Tessar. Posted January 29, 2021 Share #6 Posted January 29, 2021 I have just purchased the Sigma 24mm f/3.5 I series lens and it's working well on my Leica-T. I like it!
David galtes Posted February 21, 2021 Share #7 Posted February 21, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) What is the best way manual focusing with your sigma 24mm f/3.5 ? Do you ever zone focus? or you just magnify focus? other would be focus with VF. Works best and look for shimmering high contrast areas to focus? What technique do you use? Thanks
Gregm61 Posted February 21, 2021 Share #8 Posted February 21, 2021 I should play around with using my 24mm f3.8 Elmar-M on my CL.
