I'm wondering if M10 M users turn the Lens detection OFF when using a non Leica lens , or perhaps select a similar Leica lens profile. I noticed when turned off the camera seemed to remember the last selected ?

Any help here would be appreciated

The camera always remembers the last uncoded lens. There is no need to switch the recognition off.

Thus, if you have a nice collection of lenses and one is uncoded, you don’t need to have it coded for recognition purposes.

I leave it always off by the way on all my cameras with old lens since I don’t want the camera doing any software adjustments to the unique rendering of vintage glass
