jaapv Posted December 22, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 22, 2020 Your Lizard is a Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus). The are regularly kept as pets.
Louis Posted December 22, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted December 22, 2020 Thanks for the information, Jaap. I tried to find more details on the Internet and couldn't find any. I just saw a picture of the similar creature in the "lizard" photos!
Louis Posted December 22, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted December 22, 2020 (edited) Jaap, now that you told me it is a chameleon, I found this one; but still considered as a lizard; an iguana suborder lol Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted December 22, 2020 Share #5 Posted December 22, 2020 Ah, but so much more interesting than most other lizards. When they walk they do so in a slow, halting manner to avoid having predators notice them, and the eyes move independently. Of course, i disapprove of exotic pets.
HuntingSand Posted December 23, 2020 Share #6 Posted December 23, 2020 Cuddly stuff, this, my dear Louis, no matter the name of the critter. The shaved head makes for a more, uhm, immersive, experience. On a related note, I believe we also had The Lady with the Snake before, or was it The Snake with the Lady perhaps? 😁

It's usually guys that hang out with komodo dragons and lizards and chameleons while the ladies seem to prefer snakes, at least in public 🙂

fotografr Posted January 19, 2021 Share #13 Posted January 19, 2021 Both shots are very nice, although I really don't like seeing people with exotic pets pulled from the wild.
