Some SL-porn (in response to the "show us your kit" call from Dave Farkas and Josh Lehrer).

adapted R lenses on the left, SL lenses in the middle and adapted S lenses on the right.

Nice. Which is your “one lens to rule them all?”

It takes at least two.  The 35 APO Summicron and the S 100/2.0.  And for total world domination, I would go to the Apo Telyt-R 280/4.0.  That's why I still need all three bodies.

Just received my Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art 3 hours ago - paid $570 new on Amazon.com (price seems to be back at $799 right now, the order was fulfilled by Amazon Japan, 3 day shipping time).

Lens is exceeding my expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It offers a true 1:1 reproduction ratio, and a bunch of convenience features, including a focus limiter - which helps with focusing speed as it can be used as short tele as well as for close ups. Macro ring for manual focus has a looooong throw, allowing for any degree of precision.

Pictures below are from a 2 minute photo shoot with the SL2-S, literally just stepping outside of my door (apologies for the sub standard artistic merits). 10 minutes to sunset, all hand-held at f/2.8 aperture and 1/25" shutter speed (the spider would have benefited from a faster speed for sure, some vibrations evident):

Get the S lens to L camera adapter. I use my S lenses (especially the 120mm T-S) on my SL2-S with no problems, and the M to L adapter for the 35mm.  Now you're down to one body (like that would ever happen. 😉
