M6, light leak or bromide drag?

Thanks for replying. I scanned using Plustek 8200i. But I could see the issue by looking the negative itself for both vertical and horizontal bands, so we can rule out the scanning issue. The only shot on this roll that don't have both vertical and horizontal bands is the first shot, the rest has both of them and very consistent pattern. It is possible that the first shot were shot at lower shutter speed. I don't see any of these problem on previous rolls at all (but they were shot at most 1/250).

It's very clearly a lightleak. Look at the right edge, it's completely burnt! You can even see double impressions of the sprocket holes, this means light leaked through and "projected" the sprocket holes of the outer layers of the film onto the inner ones, creating those outlines. This usually happens when there's a lightleak hitting the takeup spool area, where the film is wound. If you're certain the lightleak didn't originate in the camera, the only other options could be either during loading to the reels for development, or a lightleak in the dev talk, or, with very small likelihood, a faulty/damaged film canister.

If there's any bromide drag it'd have to be on top of the severe lightleak. It's implausible that you have bromide drag with the developer and agitation you descrbed.
