Kimmeridge Bay and the Clavell Tower.  Pushing the Q2M to its maximum 30 second exposure.  Wish it could go longer . . .

Is the Q2M maximum exposure 30s? I thought it would be the same as the Q2, which is limited to 120 seconds.

You are right but I made a mistake using a slightly higher ISO setting and that reduced the exposure time 🙁

It’s one of those odd “features” that Leica builds in to the Q series cameras.

Ah yes, I’d forgotten that quirk!

I tend to leave my Q2 on ISO 200 when putting it on a tripod to take infra-red pictures so don’t bump up against the shorter shutter limits.

Looks like you figured out the issue in that 120s only applies to low ISO of 100 or 200.

Also there is a T setting which I was hoping might allow more than 120s. Unfortunately if one doesn't press the shutter second time instead of going longer it just cuts off at the max of 120s at 100/200 ISO or at 60S in the case of ISO 400.

I'm quite disappointed in the 120s limit. Its certainly better than 30s but still very limiting in that more often than not the desired creative result requires 3-6 minutes.

Hoping that Leica will remove this limitation in future firmware update.

Durdle Door without the crowds.  I am now convinced that Photoshop was invented for the removal of unwanted holidaymakers 😀

There are cloning patterns in the pebbles... Have found C1's 'Healing Tool' does an arguably better job ...but then I elected to stop using PS a long time ago (v4.02 IIRC) 😎

Picked up my Q2M on Friday - one of my first shots with this incredible camera. I can see my reflection in the right eye.

Backlit shot - unfortunately I had numerous with the "prismatic sensor reflection". Taken with the Leica orange filter. Staughton Vale, Victoria - approx. 75km west of Melbourne.

I rented a Q2M for a week on a lark and loved it. Two months later, I own one and it is all I shoot with now!
