My chargers do not give evidence of 100% charge: both LEDs are still on after an overnight charge.   Ideas?  Suggestions?

Thats correct Stephen.  As long as both LEDs are ON, and neither LED is flashing, charge is complete.

Now run the batteries down and recharge a few times to maximise their performance.

welcome back to the forum.

Now I can sleep nights...  <grin>

It's good to be back... thank you.

Oh, while I have your ear,  my 87 year old hands are not as steady as in days of yore.  Would a soft release be beneficial?

Stephen.   I find that a soft release with a concave top does improve finger contact.  Hope you can find one.

They are definiitely available for M bodies, but i cant remember if the Leica Q and Q2 have screw holes in the shutter release button.

gordon.

Thanks Gordon

The Q2 has image stabilization.  So no problem there.  No drilled hole for a cable release..  That's all handled thru electronics..

Actually I wish the M had a "hair trigger"

I will find and try a soft release.

Meanwhile the ISO will be higher than really necessary.

Stay well.
