How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

Directly opposite The Hilton Garden Inn on the other side of Peterborough's River Nene is the Grade 2 listed 'Old Customs House' built in 1790 ... the Peterborough Sea Cadets HQ.

The roof was replaced 4 years ago ... pigeons and the weather took their toll over the years  ... but the pigeons returned as soon as the roof was completed. Pigeons cause £'0000s of damage to Peterborough and Stamford buildings ... partly fuelled by people feeding the birds. When this photo was taken today, a lady, exactly 100m distant,  was scooping handfuls of bird seed from her shopping trolley onto the pedestrianised Bridge Street shopping area ... and in full view of security cameras. No efforts were made to stop her and pigeons soon flew down from all over the city to eat their free lunch.

Leica T (Type 701) / DAG (Don Goldberg) recycled (L mount modified) Minox Minotar 35/2.8;  ISO 100 f5.6 1/125sec.  Minotar is a 4 element Tessar design made in Germany.

The Peterborough Hilton Garden Inn under construction January 3 2022 - part of Fletton Quays Development, Peterborough Cambridgeshire UK.

Leica T (Type 701) / DAG (Don Goldberg) recycled (L mount modified) Minox Minotar 35/2.8;  ISO 100 f2.8 1/125sec.  Minotar is a 4 element Tessar design made in Germany.  One of the few Minotar exposures made at f2.8 full aperture ... January 3 was a bank holiday hence no site activity ... but the light was favourable.

Thank you very much, I'm really pleased.

I hope I can still find good motifs.
On weekdays I can only get out of the office early in the morning and in the evening.

I am also open to honest criticism and would be happy if others would join in with their own pictures
