Today, it was my second testing day of the excellent Vario Elmar-T 55-135. Yesterday, I took some shots with CL ( Noblesse oblige!

) and was very happy with the result.

So today, I tried it with T that I have not touched since I have CL.  I was a little confused with the setting, forgetting some of them. More especially, my fingers were touching the screen and settings were changing without me noticing it!... Then, being now used to CL, I found the time between screen and EVF (Visoflex) too long. Although, I really like the clarity of Visoflex.

Here, I am posting very different shots for those who may be interested in this lens that I really find great, although slow like the other TL zooms. I know, 55-135 is backorder everywhere for quite sometime; but I was lucky to find one almost new  for a reasonable price.

Please note, these shot are taken with T ( and not TL/TL2 ), and 55-135. I still find T to be an excellent camera with a sensor that still is not bad at all.

Like japan, I like the T sensor - particularly like the portrait above.  Also, there doesn't seem to be a shortage of the 55-135 lenses in Singapore...

Thanks for these shots.

Thank you Viskas. For couple of months, I have been googling for 55-135 and everywhere it says backorder!... I was lucky to find this one for a reasonable price and it is almost new!

Those are too small, not really possible to see them properly.

Uploading an image:

Prepare on your computer, reduce size to 1280 pixels on the long edge, save as JPG, sRGB. Maximum file size 500 kB (quality something like 8), sponsoring members 1000 kB, (quality 10-12)

Lightroom will export to these parameters, use the export dialog.

Go to:

"More reply options", attach the file, position the cursor  and click "add to post".

One image per post. This has the advantage that members can thank you per image.

Thank you so much. I really like the Leica T . I am going to purchase the TL 60mm lens, and wait if there will be Tl3 camera. Anybody has the TL 60mm lens and would recommend it. I am appreciated.

Yes, it is as good as the 35 1.4 TL. A great lens choice for macro and 90mm perspective.

Some examples below.

I have difficulties taking landscape pictures on sunny days (bright sun) with the 23mm lens and T camera. I use Aperture mode and , shutter mode; green mode works but ISO too high and aperture too small. Pictures are over exposed, any suggestions which mode the best to use on bright day light. I am very appreciated.

Get the ***n thing off Auto-ISO.

Use Aperture priority. Set aperture to 5.6 unless you have a reason to change it to another setting. (DOF control or running out of usable shutter speed) Same for ISO setting, use 200 or such, unless etc.

If the sky is overexposed, investigate the benefits of using a neutral density graduated filter ... lots of tutorials available on YouTube
