The other nice aspect on the T, aside from weight, is that the visoflex will angle.

Notwithstanding, the noctilux on the SL (even with the heavier weight) is a whole other experience, and an absolute pleasure.

The colors and the bokeh look nice; but I find the focus too soft! Maybe is it because of handheld (if it was handheld)?

I never had oil olive from California! Maybe I should try it! :)

Louise, I find it's mostly this lens. Extremely soft. And so sensitive to any light, it just kinda blooms easily. I have to find just the right light if have any hopes of sharpness anywhere. This was also shot full open. This is probably the first Noctilux 1.0 made, 70s vintage I believe. The newer .95 is much sharper.

By the way, that olive oil is very good! Is real olive oil.

Some experiments!

Following the conversation I recently had with our friend Rick; I remembered of an old Nikkor 300 mm (which makes 450 mm on T) that I had somewhere! I never thought of it before because of its size, and the size of T.

So, today, I decided to take it out, to the same Cathedral garden where I shot my previous flowers photos, and to give a try!

I really do NOT recommend to anyone to use this lens without a tripod! I did not bring mine and all these shots are handheld. Extremely difficult to remain study and to focus. But I was pleasantly surprised by some shots that came out OK. It also tells us that even in the good old time, they used to make some pretty good lenses! :)

In this thread, I am posting a couple from the top of the Washington National Cathedral.

Wow, quite an achievement I would say with that configuration and no tripod!

Some nice shots going up here folks - seems like Spring is happening.  We finally saw the Sun today here in Maine - many flowers and lots of color on my walk with the T and my new-to-me  Voigtlander Heliar 50 f 2.0.

First shot is actually my window sill at home.

I am pleasantly surprised by the 'Bokeh' that the Heliar lens can provide.

Thank you, Vikas. I was very surprised by the nice color rendering of this lens, and I am sure with a tripod, it can also gives you pretty sharp images with nice bokeh.
