Not many M10R photo pictures. Another using Fotos app and processed through the LR app. Hopefully they aren’t complete garbage.

A visitor!  from the UK!

If you plan your trip to come for almost two months, and have family to quarantine with for the first part of the visit, it is still possible to travel.

Great image, but would have been great out of almost any camera. All about the skill of the artist

Here's a shot testing out 12500 ISO on the M10-R with 90mm APO. Usable in a pinch.

Milky Way over the Pacific Coast, with 50mm f1.2 lens ISO 5000, 8 seconds.  I should have captured more of the shoreline for a better composition, will try again over the next 3 months as the Milky Way rises over Fall.

John,

Is this 50mm the original Noctilux?  Is there any cropping of edge coma?  Great shot. Can you comment on the need for post processing vs. other cameras you’ve used for the Milky Way?  Thanks

Excellent focusing with a rangefinder.  OVF or EVF?  I think I prefer this to your SL2 photo of the same subject.

Thanks for the kind words! This one feels a bit more special, given how lucky I was for things to all line up.  I don't shoot this sort of subject very often... seems to be a spate of them around at the moment... but it feels rare to get a chance at one head on like this.

Both actually. My methodology is to focus first with the RF.   I have the camera set for auto-zoom (no peaking).  As I go to frame via EVF, I see the magnified view which I then either half press out of or fine tune if necessary. Can't recall in this case whether any tweaks were necessary or not.  This dance became a habit that began years ago when my M240 drifted too far out of alignment.
