Vieri Posted October 22, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Loch Lomond is a beautiful loch, and I love to stop there on my way from Glasgow to Glencoe & the Isle of Skye, when I have a chance. Here a sunset on the Loch, a 1/5 second photograph taken in 2018 with my (then) Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters: Welcome, dear visitor! Graham (G4FUJ) Posted October 22, 2020 Share #3 Posted October 22, 2020 Another beautiful shot Vieri. Whenever I drive north passing Loch Lomond I get a strong feeling that I am heading home, not that I have ever found any Scots family heritage (yet!). TomB_tx Posted October 22, 2020 Share #4 Posted October 22, 2020 (edited) Very nice shot. I passed by Loch Lomond in the early 1980s going from Glasgow towards Isle of Skye on my tandem bicycle. Just took the time for a couple of quick snapshots on my Leica CL (film). We toured on our own for 10 days before catching our Braniff flight back to Texas. Braniff had stored my "tandem box" behind their ticket counter while we were there. I haven't been back to Scotland since. Too old for cycle touring now... but I do have Scots family heritage, and would love to go back. Edited October 22, 2020 by TomB_tx

I do share your feelings about driving past Loch Lomond - while I am very Italian, I always feel really at home when in Scotland - my wife keeps telling me that I am really a nordic in disguise!
