Why so half hearted ; every panel should be customizable - think VW polo harlequin or Pentax Q10.

 I would still choose black with black leather and  no red dot.

They used to offer black dot and real black leather.  
But for some kind of twisted mind. They refuse to make us happy. 
Where is the QL ? For exemple.

Wasn't there a teaser in an interview earlier this summer about a new announcement from Leica this autumn? A new development/direction? Doesn't sound like a Cl2, though it could be.

But how will people decide which colour to get without endless internet discussions? I don't know, it's all very worrying indeed.

On the bright side if you can bear to buy it a second hand camera will now be a further revenue stream for Leica replacing the hideous colour somebody else has chosen.

I think that getting something from Cameraleather or one of the other camera cover suppliers and sticking it on yourself is a rather more cost-effective way of going about it - and one has far more choice.

I hope it's a TL3 ... to compete with Zeiss ZX1 ( which apparently is a mere $6k ).

The CL leathers might hint that if there is a CL2 in the near term, it would keep the same body as the current CL.
