It looks like the bottom half of a lenshood that unscrews to take a series filter. But there isn't a ridge to hold a filter and series 6 is too small and series 7 too big. The screw on the top is about 48mm. It has 42 on the bottom and it clips onto an E39 size lens.What should screw into the top? I can't see it described in any of my catalogues. Welcome, dear visitor!
