In another thread, there  is a discussion about preferred lenses for CL. I mentioned that my most used TL lenses are 18-56, 35, and 55-135.

There is already an excellent thread for the great 35mm TL. So, today I took my APO-Vario-Elmar-T 55-135mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH  for a walk and here are a few shots for those who may be interested in this lens.

I highly encourage  anyone with this excellent lens  to post your shots.

Thank you, dear Jane. It was actually a difficult shot because of the light coming very harshly from behind. I wasn't even sure if I could post it.

The backdrop is one of Wynwood's wall paintings. This is a famous area in Miami that many call it Graffiti museum.

The first B/W shot is in front of a Botero's statute where many ladies love to pose  for a selfi because of its suggestive small "manhood"! :D

  • 2 weeks later...

This was my first outing with the 55-135. I was trying to see what I could do with depth of field and out of focus areas. I really like this lens.

Here at 55mm and f 5.6.
