Beyond one or two early buyers ...I have seen ZERO  new S3 s available in the USA .  Has anyone actually received an S3 or had one available from a USA dealer .

Did you check B & H? Their website - as of noon-ish Monday, August 24 - says "In stock".

I prefer buying Leica cameras from my local dealer.

My dealer sold an S3 a week ago, the day before I asked him getting one for me.

I am trying to find a dealer that will honor the Leica S 007 trade in promotion .  Its an extra $4K PLUS the trade in value ..at a minimum $8K off the list price .  B&H isn t an option as this would be to difficult to pull off with limited stock .They show out of stock but coming in 7-14 days .   I do not believe for a moment that Leica USA actually has stock available .  I have reached out to them about availability and getting the promotion honored .

My questions of LUF members (besides R10 who has replied )

                1. Have you been able to buy an S3 in the USA?

                2. Were you able to trade in a older S camera ?

I have an S3 with <500 images on it, as new in box.

It's an amazing camera but I am heavily invested in the SL system.

Email for info. You can check my feedback on FM and eBay as jhulton

Also available S45mm, S70mm, S120mm and S180mm
