BenzilLobo Posted August 13, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 13, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I went on a safari with an M9 and a Nikon Df. The M9 colors pop, while the Df looks flat. I want to tweak the Df pictures towards M9 colors and sharpness to get a consistent look. Are there any LR presets or camera profiles which allow to emulate M9 colors? I use LR 6.14. Advertisement Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Hi BenzilLobo, Take a look here M9 Color rendition on Nikon Df in LR 6??. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted August 13, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 13, 2020 Yes, there are some presets but I doubt that they will give you the result that you want. If you don’t like working the sliders, nor take a Greta Macbeth card shot on both cameras to equalize the profiles, it might be a good idea to switch to preset-based software like ON1. You’ll never get the same microcontrast (your sharpness) though.
antigallican Posted August 13, 2020 Share #3 Posted August 13, 2020 Agree with Jaap, save to say the closest preset is one for Kodachrome 25, like this one from Gavin Gough https://www.gavingough.com/store/kodachrome
zeitz Posted August 13, 2020 Share #4 Posted August 13, 2020 Which Df profile are you using? Adobe Standard or one of the Nikon profiles, such as Landscape or Vivid?

I shoot Nikon personally but I started on Fuji and miss the feel and handling for sure. They just make solid, beautiful cameras, flat out fun to use. That's probably the biggest reason overall. This is the only era since the beginnings of photography when 'photographers' can't make a decision for themselves.
