M9 Color rendition on Nikon Df in LR 6??

Recommended Posts

Yes, there are some presets but I doubt that they will give you the result that you want. If you don’t like working the sliders, nor take a Greta Macbeth card shot on both cameras to equalize the profiles, it might be a good idea to switch to preset-based software like ON1. You’ll never get the same microcontrast (your sharpness) though.

Hi,

I went on a safari with an M9 and a Nikon Df. The M9 colors pop, while the Df looks flat. I want to tweak the Df pictures towards M9 colors and sharpness to get a consistent look. Are there any LR presets or camera profiles which allow to emulate M9 colors? I use LR 6.14.

Best

Because Fujifilm cameras generally have dials and manual controls, for one. I shoot Nikon personally but I started on Fuji and miss the feel and handling for sure. They just make solid, beautiful cameras, flat out fun to use. That's probably the biggest reason overall.

Use your eyes, then your brain, and create a preset. This is the only era since the beginnings of photography when 'photographers' can't make a decision for themselves.
