I've never been a wrist-strapper but I just received my  Leica #24018 grip for my M10 and would like to try a wrist strap connected to the handgrip as opposed to one of the camera lugs.  There is a threaded fitting on the grip that accepts the finger loop from Leica but I want to mount a wrist strap to that fitting.  Is there  a specific fitting that will screw in with a hole to accept a ring?   I can't find anything with extensive searching.  It would be easy enough to make a fitting with the correct thread-sized machine screw but surely there's a more 'elegant' fitting available?

I'm concerned about a single camera lug being strong enough to support the weight of the camera + MATE - while hanging from a wrist strap.  That configuration is the heaviest it would be be and seems like lot to be supported by one lug.

"Why don’t you like the Leica loops?"

I just don't care for the look but I have never tried them so as far as actually using one, I really have no idea! :)

If the weight on one lug is not an issue, I'll just attach the strap to one as per the usual setup.  Thanks!

The handgrip is one of my best purchases.  Its a beautiful fit and adds stability to the body.  A great investment.  You might like to consider adding the finger loop directly to the handgrip.   It makes the whole device secure in your hand and you no longer have trailing straps.
then add the finger grip.

I found The design of the handgrip/finger grip combo is slightly compromised because the finger grip doesnt stay tight.  To deal with that slight risk i have added a small rubber “0” ring between the finger grip and handgrip.  This completely stops the unwanted rotation of the finger grip on the handgrip.  Now the fittings are perfect.

No neckstrap required unless You really want to hang the camera around your neck.

Another cheap-ass wrist-strapper here!. My first wrist strap for the M10 + M10 Grip was $9 USD Nylon ha ha. Works very well, holds up very well and I still have it--still looks brand new. But I did want to find something similar in leather and I came upon my current leather wrist strap, made by a company called Cecilia that used to supply Leitz with leather for their M cameras years ago. So I moved from cheap but very strong to affordable and very strong.

Very light weight, very strong ( braided Dacron loop is rated up to 130lb), barely there leather which is what I like and most importantly no chance of marring my camera or grip.

Cecilia Black Leather Camera Wrist Strap (cord attachment) *It does not connect to the Grip as OP requested.

Which size finger loop did you get?

I went out today for some shooting and, with the handgrip - love it!  But I've again decided that shooting with the wrist strap won't work for me.  For example, I went out today (on foot - don't own a car here in Bath), shot some pics, went to the grocery store, then went to the hardware store.  The neck strap made it a non issue - camera strap across my shoulder/camera shoved around my back so it was totally out of the way for my 'chores.'   If I used a wrist strap I'd have to carry a bag to put the camera in to free my hands.  I have camera bags but prefer not using them unless I have to.

If I went out ONLY to take pics, then the wrist strap would be fine though changing lenses would worry me a bit.  But that's not what I typically do.  I have a camera with me whenever I'm out and most of the time I'm doing other things as well as maybe taking pics.  When we were at Highclere Castle a few days ago, I just had the camera/50mm on it's neck strap and a 21mm in my pocket.  No case or other sort of 'holder.'  It seems to work best for me that way.  Today I was out with only the MATE which is even easier.

Medium.

its tight, but no chance of my fingers slipping out.   Using the grip plus loop, i find that i can get two stops more on shutter speed.

Thought so. I’m going to try large.
