Astropap Posted July 20, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone attempted getting some shots of the comet? If so, I’d like to see some and get an idea of lenses used, exposure, etc. Thanks Amy Edited July 20, 2020 by Astropap
Advertisement Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 Hi Astropap, Take a look here Comet NEOWISE?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jankap Posted July 20, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2020 (edited) It was cloudy here the last days. I´ll try again, but I have to go out of the house. There are many trees around of us. Your question: I would take a 135er mm (on FF) than you have foreground. Better longer. You have some seconds for the exposure, wide open. The distance (infinity) will be difficult to set, if the scale goes beyond infinity. So manual distance setting. jaapv Posted July 20, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2020 Have a look in the various image threads. I have seen a few photographs. Unfortunately this is not a thread for the camera-specific forums.
