I am thinking of picking up a Leica M10-D... I previously had a M10-P which I sold in place for a SL2.. The M10-P let me change the first 3 letters or so of the file name, instead of being forced to stick to "L". Would I be able to do the same via the app on iOS?

Additionally, would anyone know if I would be able to change the lens profile through this way as well?

The intruction manual says you can set file headers 9first three letters) using the app.  But the Fotos App doesn't implement that yet.  In the old days, one way to set the file numbers to stay apart and not duplicate when you had more than one M camera was to rename the folders on the chip and put it back into the camera.  See if that still works.

You can change the default folder 100LEICA filename with the PC, the existing photos remain in the renamed folder, but when you put the SC card back into the camera, a new, additional folder 100LEICA is created instantly and used for the storage of the new photos, they are not stored in the renamed folder.
