Capture One really is the culprit of this review.  I went to my local boutique and tested the M10-R, and files at high-iso absolutely fell apart in Capture One(likely due to the RAW converter not compatible yet) and looked great in Lightroom.    so with my M10R I will have to use Lightroom until Capture One supports it.   

 

I think that for them to review the camera and state that it falls apart at high iso the way it does, without checking other RAW convertors definitely ruins all credibility of the reviewer for me.

In my view it’s a bit premature to make any conclusions about the colors yet.
Anyway, if I happen to see bad orange with a new camera, I would return to the studio and try to color calibrate the camera with a reliable color chart to the known light source and see the results. I doubt that LR or P1 programs are ready for the new camera.

I greatly dislike LR, to me no software compare to C1 in terms of usability.   I use C1 for everything else, but for the M10R I will use LR and live with it.

I don't have problems on C1 with my M10. It rocks. But I agree that is early to apply PP if the camera profile hasn't been added yet. Maybe is the reason why the review above had some terrible results. Or maybe the firmware. Maybe both. Many any 🤷‍♂️

I honestly think their results are C1 based.  I saw the same issue when I brought high iso files into C1.   It will be interesting to see how quickly C1 supports it, and how it compares to LR with the files.    I just got a S Typ007 and C1 and LR are almost identical in terms of processing.

C1 usually offers default DNG support until and only if it is clear that something more is needed.  And the results are good.  After all Leica has put their file characteristics into the DNG as parameters.  

I wonder a bit about the test shots in that video since almost all were taken outdoors at night under unknown light sources.
