Snowman Posted June 25, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 25, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Nearly close to getting my first Leica, the Q2. Currently use the X-Pro2 with some primes, mainly as a hobby however I do upload images to stock agencies which helps pay for my camera gear. Just wondering if any other Q/Q2 users use this camera for similar work? I don't do portrait, sports or wildlife photography in general, so the fixed prime on the Q does not really bother me. Advertisement Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Hi Snowman, Take a look here Anyone use Q2 for Microstock or professional work?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
CRTZMO Posted June 25, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 25, 2020 With a full-frame sensor and stellar glass, the Q2 is extraordinarily capable. The detail in a properly exposed photograph is outstanding, and the data size meets even the most extreme stock specifications. If the fixed 28mm isn’t a limitation to your style and subject matter, a good fit for the role. Replace your memory cards with FAST chips — the camera’s write speed is ravenous, and slower cards will negatively affect your shooting cadence.
tatibcn Posted June 25, 2020 Share #3 Posted June 25, 2020 I do most of my commercial work with the SL2 + 90mm SL and the Q2. Great combination for corporate and portrait sessions.
