This is a Ming dynasty neighborhood, the alleys are too narrow for cars, so it makes for a pleasant pedestrian environment.

farnz Posted June 29, 2020 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2020 A lovely, moody atmospheric picture that's beautifully accentuated by the spill of light and the subject's attention, Thomas. I hope you are well? Pete.

Things are complicated here in California, as you can probably imagine, but I am fine, thanks for asking. Am (somewhat) hopeful to be over in Europe in the fall, in which case I will definitely be in touch. Stay safe. Thomas

fotografr Posted June 30, 2020 Share #10 Posted June 30, 2020 Farnz took the words I was going to write. This is a really outstanding atmospheric shot and is a great example of the power of b&w images to evoke a strong emotional reaction.
