richfx Posted June 11, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 11, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) The auto lens sensor hasn’t worked on my M10 since I bought it. I’ve read that this is a fairly common occurrence. Short of sending it in to Leica, has anyone figured out a fix?

250swb Posted June 11, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 11, 2020 You mean the code sensor isn't working when you mount a coded lens?
chris_tribble Posted June 11, 2020 Share #3 Posted June 11, 2020 What lenses are you using? The sensor will only work with 6-bit coded lenses.
mujk Posted June 13, 2020 Share #4 Posted June 13, 2020 Do you get an error message indicating that lens detection doesn't work? Does the camera show the wrong lens type? Have you checked that Lens detection is set to Auto in the menu? Have you mounted the lens properly, i.e. exactly to the position where it locks, not short of this or past it?
