Q vs Q2 dust

So has the Q2 proven to be better at dust avoidance than the Q was? I've seen many posts concerning dust on the Q sensor. Has the Q2 sealing helped?

No problems on my Q2 after - year. No problems on my Q after 3 1/2 years. The Q2 lens has weather sealing and the Q did not to the best of my knowledge.

Yes I know about the Q2 weather sealing. Just wondering if it's effective enough. Glad to hear you're not experiencing any issues. Thanks.

After the Q i bought used had dust issues one of the reasons was
i taped the mic and the speaker openings with black gaffer tape.
Not very elegant but i prefer that than fork over €€€ to Leica to clean the camera.

After 10 Months no issues with dust, and i guess i will not have as the Q2 is better sealed as the Q.
Taping the 2 "holes" is just a additional safety.

With IP 52, I don’t think dust should be an issue for the Q2.

Never had the problem neither with the Q, neither with Q2 and I live in a dry dusty windy land...
