I think it's an oversight more than anything else and i'm not to sure how i feel about it. Looks just thrown with what ever was available. I’d feel the same way. Worth asking what really happened, at least for the record. It’s not exactly an invisible deviation from spec. BTW I just looked closer at your top cap and see your ISO indicator line is also white while mine is black...
