...I also remember getting a mini complex about the composition, wondering whether the shot would be better taken from the middle or end of the bridge from where your shot was taken...

Thank you, Ray, for your kind words. As far as the 'positioning' for the reverse snap goes I resolved that conundrum by taking my pic from underneath the bridge at the furthermost point possible - walking over the flattest stones I could reach in the river - before getting my feet too wet....

And Pedaes (Keith?) ! Thanks again for your much-appreciated comment but to be brutally honest (IMO) it is Edinburgh itself that does the majority of the photographic 'hard work' as the whole town is simply so utterly beautiful. I might have left the place 35 years ago to come down south but every single time when travelling 'northward' and I see Arthur's Seat on the horizon I have an intense feeling of 'Coming Home' which I've never once expreienced in all my time when returning to London.

Anyhow!...

One more snapshot* from the same 'wander'. Three students having a lovely gentle time in a lovely gentle place which was 'weel ken't' in my own times. 'Happy Days' indeed;

* M Monochrom, 28 Elmarit asph v1 again. I did take COLOUR snaps with the M-D Typ-262 with 35mm Summilux v2 during the same meander but, obviously, they wouldn't fit in here.

Nice shot. 28 Cron is a gem for street shots in B&W a compact and fast alternative to 24 and 21 LUX. 28LUX doesn't have the same bite!
