Jeffry Abt Posted May 22, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Up until this point I have been content with the free version of FOTOS. (I use it happily with a M10 and SL2.) I’m thinking of buying the pro version to use it with my SL2 to control video capturer via my I phone. Anyone out there have any practical experience with such? Please share.
Advertisement Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Hi Jeffry Abt, Take a look here Video with the Fotos Pro app. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
scott kirkpatrick Posted May 22, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2020 (edited) Video is crippled on both the iPad and Android versions of Fotos 2.1 but there is a free introductory offer (the bills don't arrive for a year) with which you can try it. I'm curious to know if adding video controls (which have to start and stop the shooting) will also fix some problems with different drive modes on the still Remote part of the app. At present self-timer delay and continuous shooting don't do anything. They can change the setting of the camera but when you shoot in remote, nothing happens. You just get a single shot, immediately. If you try the Pro version, let us know if the drive modes work better. Edited May 23, 2020 by scott kirkpatrick
