Watches and the Leica M

As most M users are also watch connoisseurs, was wondering what your choice of watch was to compliment the black or silver M bodies?

My daily watches. All photos were taken by SL with M 50 Summilux ASPH.

Don't assume that all Leica users have an interest in watches. I use an iPhone to tell the time. It is more accurate than most watches. I do appreciate that accuracy isn't the reason for having a mechanical watch though.

Casio G-Shock.

I stopped wearing a watch some years ago then needed a stopwatch and bought a cheap Casio watch which is actually a bit of design classic and attracted lots of comments! The only snag with it is the illumination at night and looking at the Casio website I saw a very nice looking G-Shock which had hints of the WW1 era solders watches with face protection bars, so now wear that.

Not sure about any correlation with Leica's but I guess it's more of an M10 than an M2.

Which Leica M do you use with it?

Eh? No one else here wear a Timex?

:o

First watch I was ever given, by my parents, circa 1963 / 64 (shown larger than actual size);

Goes with both my Chrome M9M and my Black-Paint M-D Typ 262.

Quick snap on V-Lux 40. Which it also matches!

Philip.
