PhillipK Posted May 10, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 10, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a little confused with the numerous settings. When I click on the shutter to take the photos it takes immediately and as a result many photos taken were not sharp. I am not sure what settings I changed that lead to this. Is there a way to take a picture one a beep is heard to allow me to know the photo is now 'Focused' and when I press the button it will be taken? Anyone can help? lykaman Posted May 10, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 10, 2020 aloha, the D-Lux 7 is a pretty cool camera, I'v never had an issue with Focus.. Maybe do a Reset.. There are various Focus settings so you probably need to read the manual and understand the differences.. f stops also affect what is in Focus... Violinman Posted September 21, 2021 Share #3 Posted September 21, 2021 Hello, I would recommend you download the excellent PDF user guide from the Leica site, it is nearly 300 pages, very comprehensive and covers a lot of stuff. As far as focus is concerned there are at least 6 different focus settings, for example when you are ready to take a photo press the left hand symbol on the jog wheel, this will bring up the 6 most used settings for auto focus, perhaps initially select the 2nd from the right on the screen (1-Area) It has taken me a couple of days to become familiar with my D-Lux 7, there is a lot to learn!
