Q case that rests flat?

Hello everyone,

I love using the Leica grip with the Q because the camera sits flat without tipping over. However, I would like some side protection and am looking for a case that also allows the camera to sit flat without tipping over. Ideally the battery compartment would be accessible, but it's not a priority as I am currently ok with unscrewing the grip to access the door.

Thanks!

the leica protector but obv. not with the handgrip

Thanks. I am willing to give up the handgrip if the case balances the camera on its own. That's the primary reason the handgrip is still on there.

I have the Lim half case which includes a metal handgrip.

No need for a thumb support as the notch in the body is enough.

The camera sits flat and the black leather looks good on my QP.

The battery and card are accessed through an open part in the bottom

of the half case.

Cheers

Philip

I also have a Lim's case for the Q2 and the camera does sit flat with it on. It can still tip over sometimes when you put the lens cap back on though...
