There's also a rumor going around that Nikon is going to be replacing all their future springs with much stiffer ones, in a manly fire engine red, to encourage their users to have duels with Leica users. 2 paces, turn and fire! Safety goggles required.

Freestyle SDXC Memory Card ejecting could well be one of the premier events of the Leica Summer Olympics, to be held once every four years in Wetzlar.

I'm wondering if the various divisions of the competition should be based on card capacity and speed, or on which camera the competitors are using to shoot their cards.

Diagnosis - Severe Cabin Fever -

However, anyone throwing the card will be disqualified if the card is still in the camera.

Now we are getting into the territory of a distinctly separate event - the photographic hammer throw.

This will be a track and field event.  It will be conducted using a Pentax 6x7 with an extremely sturdy leather camera strap attached,  custom made for the event by Harry Benz.  Strap failure is simply unthinkable as an errant 6x7 flying into the stands would result in a mass fatality event.

I presume wind deflection due to Coriolis effect has been built into the final distance measurements?   L
