Filip Meutermans Posted May 3, 2020 Share #1  Posted May 3, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, This morning everything ok, but after a few photos purple haze and later the dots... The dots is maybe the corrosion, but what happend with this sensor? What can Leica do? This is a second hand M9, so no warranty...is there a possibility for an upgrade? Welcome, dear visitor! 84bravo Posted May 3, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted May 3, 2020 Is this happening with every frame, or just one or a few? This may not help, but you should try different cards and batteries just to make sure it's not something simple. If it's happening with every frame and with different cards, I would think that you have a sensor fault that can only be fixed by Leica. TomB_tx Posted May 3, 2020 Share #3 Â Posted May 3, 2020 Could be sensor, but more likely main processing board. However, both are replaced when either is bad.
jdlaing Posted May 3, 2020 Share #4 Â Posted May 3, 2020 Could be the SD card too.
Filip Meutermans Posted May 4, 2020 Author Share #5 Â Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) Ok, thanks for the replies. Tried another battery and sd-card. The first two shots were ok. But more and more the purple haze appears in the centre and 5 frames later everything purple... I've contacted my dealer...
