M9 sensor problem and colours...

Hello,

This morning everything ok, but after a few photos purple haze and later the dots... The dots is maybe the corrosion, but what happend with this sensor?

What can Leica do? This is a second hand M9, so no warranty...is there a possibility for an upgrade?

Is this happening with every frame, or just one or a few? This may not help, but you should try different cards and batteries just to make sure it's not something simple. If it's happening with every frame and with different cards, I would think that you have a sensor fault that can only be fixed by Leica.

Could be sensor, but more likely main processing board. However, both are replaced when either is bad.

Could be the SD card too.

Ok, thanks for the replies.

Tried another battery and sd-card. The first two shots were ok. But more and more the purple haze appears in the centre and 5 frames later everything purple...

I've contacted my dealer...
