robert.thomas@verizonmedia Posted April 26, 2020 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Afternoon all! I just recently sold my sony a7rii and re-purchased a new leica m9 as I so very much missed it. Was wondering though if anybody has insights on if there are any adapters that will allow me to mount a e-mount Zeiss Loxia 50mm on my m9. It's such abeautiful compact lens I dont want to part ways with it if I can avoid doing so. Thanks all for your time! Best, Robert
Advertisement Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Hi robert.thomas@verizonmedia, Take a look here Sony E-mount to Leica M mount adapter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted April 26, 2020 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2020 No way are you going to be able to use a lens with an 18 mm flange distance on a camera with a 27.8 mm register It would have to be 10 mm inside the camera. Nor. does it have a rangefinder coupling. So: no go.
robert.thomas@verizonmedia Posted April 27, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted April 27, 2020 Ahhh makes sense. Foolish question. I thought the coupling adapter because the way it sits would fit similarly to my nikon f to m adapter that I use with my zeiss distagon F mount.
