Might I add that Diafine is a siren that the inexperienced might want to avoid. It is very, very tempting: mixed solution lasts for years and can process dozens of films. And the idea that it gives a 2 stop speed boost? What could go wrong? Well, the fact is that it produces rather grainy negatives with muddy contrast. Some will tell you they are good for scanning because of the low contrast. I've found a couple of films where it genuinely is the best choice of developer, but mostly you'll get far superior results by using other developers, and the essential thing is to stick to one and learn how to use it for all the films you like. That way you'll get to the point where you can pretty much guarantee your results and you don't have to agonize about regimens.
