The tiny orchid in the third image was photographed through water at a magnification of 4.6:1 using an S1R fitted with a reversed Panasonic 42.5/1.7 micro 4/3 lens on a medium format Mamiya APO 200mm tube lens … and won the Photomacrography Forum Administrators' Award in January 2020. The 'suspended in water' technique prevents the tiny orchid specimens collapsing.
