Too soft.

:) It is corner of the frame @f1.4 with focus recompose. Not softer than Canadian Lux. The porpoise of this picture was to show barrel distortions and correction on LR.

It was not test of the sharpness shot.

Here is one without focus recompose @f1.4 with Nokton 35 1.4 II MC VM.

But as I mentioned, it is funky lens. Not FLE, nor ASPH.

Excuse me my lack of knowledge about these lenses. Which is the difference between 7 and TT (artisan)? I was trying to find the 35 1.4 on B&H but I only found Sony mount. Can someone share a link of this lens for Leica M mount please? I'm curious.

We can't compare them with a Leica performance, but it could be an option (I guess) to have a fast 35 lens at affordable price.

Thank you in advance.

It’s a fair option.

So is the 7artisans 28mm f/1.4

Anyone know size difference between 7artisans 28mm & 35mm?

Recently picked up a 35 f2 & would like a 28mm but not at the expensive of size/weight. Love the 35mm size.

Try

Google is your friend😉.

And yes, the 28mm 1.4 is a lot bigger than the 35 f/2 but then you would expect it to be.

Thanks. For sure, bigger than I’d really want.

TTArtisans and 7artisans are two different companies.
