Schittra Posted March 9, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I read through the Best SD Card Article and see many good knowledge from community here. I just wonder if we shoot DNG+JPG files, how many photo can we have in one 64GB SD Card? Thank you so much.
Advertisement Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Hi Schittra, Take a look here Number of Photo per SD. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
AndreasG Posted March 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted March 9, 2020 Depends on the photo and the selected jpg resolution, you can calculate 35-50MB for a pair of jpg+dng files.

HI AndreasG, Thank you for the update. I see the file range is varied. That make sense for 35-50 MG for a pair of JPG+DNG. Hence, that will be 1,280 photo for 64GB, or 32 rolls of film (I load up to 40 photo/roll). Considering new bad habit to do unnecessary brackets, this is enough for a trip. Thanks again. KFo Posted March 9, 2020 Share #4 Posted March 9, 2020 You can also, with a empty SD card, check the info view on the camera. It shows the remaining exposures that will fit on the card. It’s the number on the lower left of the info display. Welcome, dear visitor! I meant the other left...the right of the display. 1
