Hi! I’m new here. Currently shooting film with an M6 classic. I’m planning to buy a M10 second hand and was wondering what people thought of these Ebay listings. In prices they seem to good to be true, so I’m assuming they are. Any thoughts?

Hi musicsoul.

 Welcome to this forum.

The two auctions on eBay are very different .  Especially the first one.  Very cheap and the the Seller wants you to pay directly so you have no Ebay protection.    Look at the sellers Ebay history.  Small deals.  A visoflex sold cheaply.   All very suspicious.

The second auction has lots of bidders but the price right now is way below market price and i expect it will rise.    In fact, for your first purchase I would look for an item at your local dealer and get a warranty..

theM10D  is not a standard M10.    No rear screen.   Is that what you want?

have you looked at this leica forum classified section.

Of course, much depends on which country you are in.   Add your location to your profile to help us help you.

 Good luck.

Thank you for your response! I saw later that the second one is indeed an auction, my bad. I think the M10-D is very interesting, but having a screen is not a problem for me (I do use the Xpro3 now). I'm in The Netherlands and I haven't found a second hand M10 local.. Yet. So I was thinking of buying from a good store in for example Germany (who are also on Ebay). I will look at the classified section. Thank you!
