This is interesting - Canon has produced a portable printer that makes "Polaroids". Get out your phone, your QX-10 and print a square shot with a white bar at the bottom! Finally we can relive our SX-70 days Or still go for the one-step solution with the Sofort, and have the magic of a camera spitting out the photograph?

When we went to Uganda & Rwanda in early 2009 we brought along a tiny Polaroid printer of about that size, and gave out prints, much as Barbara had done on earlier trips with a small Polaroid cameras which printed postage size prints, as here in Laos, Madagascar and Papua New Guinea

That's nice but I wish they would come out with one that produced 5x7 dye sublimation prints with the quality and function of their cp1300.
